Valentines Day was never one that we,as a couple, got to celebrate. Our first one, he was out of state with the USAR doing paperwork so they could send him to Iraq. He was IN Iraq for the 2nd one. The next ones he was in school then the kids piled upon us ...

Now my love is my boys. Joey in particular. He's always been my love but he is a bigger kid who writes love letters to his mommy just because he love me. He doesn't truly understand the commercialism of Valentines Day but I feel so loved by my caring, sensitive and loving boy.

Joshua, oh my... He is not as in your face but that boy took my breath away when I opened up and envelope that he mailed me from school telling me he loves me!!!

I won't get flowers or a card tomorrow from my husband. Not even a quiet dinner at home. But I will be surrounded by the love of my boys and that is what is true and pure in life. Mothers and their Sons!!!
